Photography and Videography
Photography and videography are crucial for businesses. They create positive first impressions, help sell products, and contribute to brand building.
My journey into photography and videography began as a simple hobby,A way to capture moments and tell stories that mattered to me. Driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to shift narratives, I found that videography, in particular, offered a powerful medium to achieve my goals. I wanted to be part of the movement to change the narrative around my community and Black people in general, and the camera became my weapon of choice.
The true beauty of videography and also photgraphy lies in their ability to convey feelings, emotions, and messages that resonate deeply with viewers. It's not just about capturing images; it's about injecting life and meaning into each frame. Over the past two years, this passion has also evolved into a source of income, transforming a beloved hobby into an additional source of income.
One crucial lesson I've learned and i teach, whether in Finland or Africa, is the immense potential hobbies have to become lucrative income sources. By combining our passions with essential business skills, we can reach potential buyers and deliver exceptional services or products. This philosophy has guided my journey from hobbyist to professional, and I now share this knowledge through my classes, encouraging others to transform their hobbies into viable businesses.
As a professional videographer, I'm discerning about the events I cover, ensuring that each project aligns with my vision and passion. If you appreciate my work and want me to capture your special moments, please remember to book in advance.
My focus in videography is primarily on short films. I've produced several short films that are available on the Afrofinns YouTube page. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with the Finnish Red Cross and THL to produce a short documentary exploring the aftermath of the pandemic and its impact on us.
One of my most significant works to date is a documentary film about cultural creation and transmission within the Afrofinns community. This documentary premiered at the Helsinki City Museum, the most visited museum in Finland, and is now available on the Afrofinns YouTube channel. ....link bellow..
In my journey, I've learned that turning a hobby into a business requires passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn and adapt. Whether you're in Finland or Africa, don't hesitate to join my classes and discover how to transform your hobbies into potential sources of income. And if you need a videographer who is passionate about storytelling and changing narratives, I'm here, ready to capture your story with my lens.
